Dorset childcare jobs

We are looking for a caring, committed, and friendly Nursery Practitioner to join our small team at Stoborough Nursery located in the grounds of Stoborough Primary School, Stoborough, Wareham, Dorset. Our nursery staff care for children aged 2 to 4 years; planning and carrying out activities in line with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working with young people ideally in an early years or educational setting. They will have an ability to reflect and learn from past experiences, a willingness to learn and undertake further training, good communication skills and a commitment to working effectively with young people, families and other professionals.

The role is for 20 hours per week - part-time/term time only. £9.50 per hour. Monday - 8.15a.m. to 4.15p.m. Wednesday - 8.15a.m to 4.15p.m. and Friday - 8.15a.m. to 12.30p.m. 45 mins per week staff meeting. Extra hours available on an ad-hoc basis.
