Mudeford Wood Playgroup is a thriving, community based preschool which provides care and education for children between 2 and 5 years old.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, committed person to join our friendly, hard working team from January 2021. The post will initially be for approximately 16 hours a week term time, but there is some flexibility and potential for increased hours in the future. Days and exact hours to be discussed with the successful applicant.

Applicants must hold a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification and ideally will have some experience of working in an early years setting. They will work co-operatively as part of a team responsible for ensuring all children attending the playgroup are safe and well cared for. You will help to plan exciting and stimulating activities personalised to the children's needs, and become a keyworker for a small group of children, supporting their individual development.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to form positive relationships with children, staff, parents and carers.

Mudeford Wood Playgroup is a nurturing environment where all staff are encouraged to undertake regular training to enhance their skills. We welcome staff who have particular expertise, for example outdoor learning or working with children with SEN.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an
Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and provide references, with the post being offered conditionally on the acceptable outcome of these checks.
