New Opportunities for enthusiastic, friendly, child-orientated people to join our child-care team in Gaunts Common, North of Wimborne, Dorset.

We are seeking an assistant to act as a 1-1 supporter for a 3-year-old child who is deaf, They will be required to facilitate communication between the child and their hearing peers, to develop the child’s own understanding and use of sign language and support nursery staff in communicating with them. The applicant needs to be qualified in British Sign Language (BSL) at level 2 or 3, this is a Temporary position (term time only, until July 2021) starting in September 2020, for 15 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am and 3pm. No Early Years Qualifications required but training opportunities are available.
