The right person will lead a small team in the nursery group children aged 2-3, they will contribute to a planned programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in conjunction with other staff.

To act as a keyworker to a small group of children and ensure their needs are reflected in the planning of routines and activities.

To keep a proper record of observations assessments and progress reports on tapestry.

Work with parents and outside agencies to provide full integration in the setting for special needs children.

Support all staff and engage in a good staff team.

Uphold standards in the setting by adhering to all policies and procedures.

Strive to safeguard children by working to the settings safeguarding code of practice.

Enthusiasm for working with nursery children

must have a level 3 in early years and minimum of 1 years experience working in a nursery/ preschool.

An excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Good organisational, record keeping and planning skills.

Must be punctual with excellent communication skills with children colleagues and parents,

Must have patience, a good sense of fun, fit and agile as we are a pack away setting.

Plan exciting activities for the children to achieve their next steps.

Lead staff effectively.;
