We are looking for a full time Level 3 Qualified Early Years Practitioner for our Under 3’s area to join our team delivering consistent quality practice for the well-being of every child.
The successful candidate will be primarily based within our Under 3’s area, and those with a Baby Module unit within their training will have an advantage as they may possibly be working with 0-2’s.
We are an ‘Outstanding’ family run nursery, which has been successfully open for over 19 years.
The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated nursery team who together enable children to flourish. As a family worker you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to communicate with parents in a supportive and professional manner sharing children's learning and development
Experience working with 0-5 year old children is an essential as is a good understanding of child development to reflect in observations, planning and children's records used to improve outcomes for children. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to work across 0-5 age groups if needed.
Strong ICT skills will be an advantage and you will be required to be compliant with Ofsted and Safeguarding standards at all times.
Salary will be between £17,100 and £19,100 (pro rata) depending on experience and qualifications. The hours will be 40 hours per week over five days. (51 weeks per year). However part time hours may be negotiable.
Underpinning all the above you must value all children and their uniqueness by providing creative and open ended opportunities to enable children to learn and have fun.
