Parents can now apply to claim 30 hours free childcare from September 2018

Eligible parents can apply now to get their eligibility code for 30 hours free childcare. To claim, they will need to take the code to their childcare provider by 31 August. As some providers will close over the summer holidays, we are encouraging parents to apply in good time to get their codes before the end of the summer term.
If you know parents who could be eligible, please encourage them to apply as soon as possible to make sure they don’t miss out on their free hours. If parents miss the deadline, they won’t be able to claim until January 2019.
